Description: There are four Motets for the Eucharistic procession of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi or during the Octava of this Solemnity (Sunday), sung when the Holy Sacrament is post on the altar at the first, second, third and fourth Station around or inside of the church or by the street of city.

Original text and translations

Latin text Misit me vivens Pater Et ego vivo propter Patrem. Et qui manducat me vivet propter me. Cibavit illum Dominus pane vitae Et intellectus. Et qui manducat me vivet propter me.

English translation The living father has sent me and I live through him. He who eats my flesh, shall live through me. For the Lord has fed him with the bread of life. And he shall understand: he who eats my flesh shall live through me.

German translation Der lebendige Vater hat mich gesandt und ich lebe durch den Vater. Und wer mich ißt, wird durch mich leben. Der Herr hat ihn gespeist mit dem Brot des Lebens und der Einsicht/Erkenntnis. Und wer mich ißt, wird durch mich leben.
