Diffusa est gratia

The offertory Diffusa est gratia, from Psalm 44:3 (Vulgate), has been used for the Common of Virgin Martyrs, as well as the Marian feasts Purification of the BVM and the post Vatican II Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.

German translation Ausgegossen ist Gnade auf deinen Lippen: deswegen hat dich Gott auf ewig gesegnet.

English translation 45:2  Grace flows from your lips, because God has blessed you for ever.
